Shipping policy

Shipping

All purchases over $500 CAD are fully insured and shipped via FedEx. Purchases under $500 CAD are shipped using local Couriers (Such as Canada Post). Items are padded and boxed and require a signature upon delivery for insurance purposes. If you make any changes to your delivery, such as releasing the item without a signature, the insurance is void and you will not be issued a refund if the package is lost or stolen. If you are not home to receive the package it will be held at your closest Fedex or Post distribution center. If the package is not picked up by the recipient, within the specified time, it will be returned to Meg Lizabet and you will be refunded, less the cost of shipping and a restocking fee. If the package is lost during delivery, at the fault of the courier service, you will be refunded for the item.

Please note, our dispatch times refer to the time it takes us to process and prepare your order for shipment. Shipping times, however, are determined by the courier and may vary. While we strive to ensure timely dispatch, we are not responsible for any shipping delays once the package is in transit. We urge you to track your package using the tracking ID provided prior to emailing our customer service. Refunds or discounts will not be issued because of delayed shipments. If you are concerned about the timely arrival of your package please contact us prior to making your purchase and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Customs / Import Taxes

Meg Lizabet is not responsible for any duties, taxes, or import fees that may be levied at the border of your home country, this is your obligation. We have no control over what packages are held at the border. Customs agents typically notify both senders and recipients when packages are held for outstanding duties. Should this happen and we are notified, we will make all reasonable attempts to let you know. However it is not our responsibility to ensure that you pay duties to have your package released. In some cases, depending on your country or state, the border office may require more personal information from you.
