Trendy Bride: Mermaid Wedding Inspiration
This editorial was inspired by Hans Christian Anderson's The Little Mermaid. The mood of the editorial is vintage, rustic, and “of-the-sea”, with tones of dusty blue, ivory and brass. Floral arrangements with sea greens, succulents and accents of crimson and mauve sit atop a small antique table set for two along the waters edge, making the perfect backdrop for this seaside elopement.
Natural, earthy elements such as tumbled coral, vintage sea glass and antique jewelry are incorporated throughout, as though from a treasure trove, and pay homage to the original fairytale. The editorial was captured at sunrise, between 4:30am - 11:00am at the Scarborough Bluffs on Kodak Portra film.
